There are many lovely practices to choose from if you’re planning an eastern wedding traditions. These rituals, which date back thousands of years, are intended to unite couples, families, and friends.

In a conventional Korean ceremony, the bride and groom don hanboks, which are colorful, lightweight garments with plain traces and no hands. While blue hanboks represent intelligence, red ones stand for devotion and beauty. The pair may also decide to don a black or white hanbok. Numerous rituals are performed during the kunbere ceremony, which is held at the household altar. Among them are toasts from guests and family members, ring exchanges, and the couple’s vows.

Reputable older people assist the bride and groom in tying their hair with colorful cotton threads before the ceremony. A group of female relatives then lead them to the family altar and present the bride and groom with two flower seedlings or two cleaned dates. Next a family member serves them drink that has been poured into tumblers and fastened with purple series. The few then bows three days in reverence for god, their parents, and their ancestors. This is followed by a meal.
